About Us

We at Yug Montessori provide space prepared with scientifically designed material of child’s size, the children are guided by trained adults based on Dr. Maria Montessori principles with rich living experiences to sustain the child’s natural interest in learning.
Our Montessori-trained guides have a full understanding of the child’s need, she/he has the responsibility of preparing the space based on Montessori principles, and skilfully link/present the work to the child, observe the child’s interest and help sustain his/her concentration.
The objective of YUG is in sync with the Montessori concept, we tend to develop the concept first by using concrete materials during the early sensitive years, the materials in the Montessori classroom has been carefully designed to attract the interest of the student, while at the same time teach a specific concept. The purpose of each material is to isolate each concept in a way the child is bound to discover.
Concrete materials make concepts realistic, and therefore make a task easily understandable. The children start to work abstractly (paper and pencil) when he or she has internalized the pattern and no longer needs the Montessori material.
The child can learn the basic concepts of mathematics and language. Lessons and activities are gradually and systematically introduced in the early years and are reintroduced several times during the following years at increasing degrees of abstraction and complexity.

Our Founders

SANDHYA REDDY

“Respect the Voice,” quotes Sandhya, a Postgraduate in Botany from Acharya Nagarjuna University. Holding a Bachelor of Education degree, she desired to design Education in a better way. Far more, as a mother of two children, she ultimately reasoned out that it all means to be listened to. As a parent, she interpreted the vacuum between the theories of education and the play practically in schools. This compelled her to ponder over and take a further step in owning a preschool franchise.

After working closely with children for 7 years, she was able to understand the real developmental needs of a child and the importance of education in a child’s life. She decided to leave the franchise and got trained in the most scientific Maria Montessori method. She feels honoured to own an AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) diploma for 3-6 years. Knowing that every child is a Winner and every child desires to have a Voice, she looks forward to working with children holding the blind trust on the future man in making.”

PRACHETHA REDDY

A Graduate from Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University (commercial Agricultural and Business Management) who worked as a field officer in the State Bank of India for a year, felt the need to garnish the System of Education. Surprising but true, this paved the way to start a preschool (Kidzee Franchise) which was her first awakening.

Mother of 2 children and having them start learning in a Montessori school she was inspired by the system. “Every school should allow the child to discover herself or himself,” quotes Prachetha. She observed that the needs of the child were answered scientifically, giving them holistic development which was absent in any regular preschool. Having known what is right for the child, she pursued the Montessori AMI pre-primary diploma for 3-6 years.

It’s eminent, Montessori methodology of educating the child is based on the universal needs of the child. Therefore, discovering the basic hypothesis of a good Pre School, Prachetha looks forward to taking up the Montessori movement. Furthermore, to associate with parents and society & to bring awareness on the right spirit of education, this acumen set off to gift every child way more. She emphasises the skills of the children which steers them forward and bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and applied knowledge to build better future generations who can become contributing members of society.
